In the latest edition of SouthwestWakeNews (http://www.southwestwakenews.com/opinion/story/2909.html), Apex Councilman Gene Schulze raises yet more concerns about the major development project Veridea being rammed down our throats, asking for major concessions of Apex Town Ordinances.  How do we stop this beast?  It just isn't fair that the big developers get to have their way.  Why don't they have to follow the rules like everyone else?

Um, they do have to follow the rules.  Why do you think they are going through the Town's development process.  In the end Apex will have its say but will have to approve the project in some form.  There is no legal right for the Town to block development totally, there are those pesky things called property rights still in force.  The final version would be anyone's guess, it will certainly not be exactly what every side wants. Sounds like the usual.
